It was announced during Friday's telecast of EliteXC's ShoXC event on Showtime that the network will be televising Cage Rage's next card in London on March 8. The event is scheduled to be headlined by Ken Shamrock in a heavyweight clash vs. Robert "Buzz" Berry. Shamrock's 19-year old son, Ryan, will appear on the card as well.

March will be a busy month for Showtime, as the next ShoXC event is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 21 while Frank Shamrock is scheduled to return to action against Cung Le on March 29 on a card co-promoted by EliteXC and Strikeforce. Another ShoXC event on April 5 is planned as well.

Shamrock set to fight Berry at Cage Rage 25

Ken Shamrock's opponent for Cage Rage 25 in London on March 8 will be Robert Berry, according to Cage Rage's official website.

EliteXC, the parent company of Cage Rage, announced the signing of Shamrock and his 19-year old son, Ryan, to contracts in a press release last week.

Berry is a veteran of Cage Rage who is coming off two consecutive defeats. Berry lost to Colin Robinson via TKO at 3:18 of round 1 at Goshin Ryu 19 last February and was TKO'd vs. Neil Grove following a corner stoppage at Cage Rage 24 this past December.

Robinson will be fighting Antoni Hardonk on Saturday's UFC 80 undercard.

Shamrock, a UFC Hall of Famer, has lost four consecutive bouts dating back to an April 2005 TKO defeat to Rich Franklin in the main event of the live finale for the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Shamrock suffered another first round TKO that year to Kazushi Sakuraba at PRIDE 30 and then returned to the UFC in 2006 proceeded to lose consecutive fights to Tito Ortiz.

Both fighters have a common opponent in Dan Severn, another UFC Hall of Famer. Shamrock is 1-1 lifetime vs. Severn while Berry lost his only meeting against him when he submitted to a rear naked choke in the first round at Goshin Ryu 16 in 2006.
